Şebnem Paker
Şebnem Paker was born in İstanbul, Turkey. Beginning from 1980, she began to have ballet education for seven years. She started to have guitar lessons when she was at secondary school. In 1992, she started going to Haydarpaşa Super High School. At the same year she suceeded at the exams and had trained for four years at the İstanbul State Conservatory Classical Guitar Section. She started doing studio works with composer Levent Çoker in 1995. In 1996, she started to have voice education at the Marmara University Music Education Voice Training Section.
She began her professional carrier with Eurovision Song Contest in 1996 in Oslo, Norway and took 12th. place with the song “Beşinci Mevsim”. She brought the 3rd place to Turkey with the song “Dinle” at the Eurovision Song Contest in Ireland in 1997. After the contest her first solo album "Dinle" was released in 1997.
Şebnem Paker’s graduted from Marmara University Music Education Voice Training Section in 2000. And she’s now studying as a music teacher and continues her music works as a singer at the same time.
